Ben Stannard is a photographer based in Sheffield. He works mostly within an hour of the city — the eastern edges of the Peak District, the moors above them, and the streets in between.

The work is made slowly and on foot, usually at the two ends of the day. He photographs landscape and documentary subjects on commission, and takes on a small number of portrait commissions each year.
